Los Diabletes de Teguise (The Little Devils of Teguise)
During Carnival in Lanzarote you can’t miss one of the oldest traditions in the Canary Islands. These “terrifying” characters, the Little Devils, provide fun for young and old alike, chasing the townspeople and frightening them with a stick that has a bag full of paper, dirt and rags hanging from one end.
La Parranda Los Buches (Los Buches Music Group)
This group of musicians will help you discover some of the old sea shanties that are part of the island’s history. You’ll see this key element of the Carnival fun at the head of the parade in Arrecife, in a colourful, fun procession of costumes, performing groups and floats.
